H.O.P.E. Works is the oldest and largest rape crisis center in the State of Vermont. H.O.P.E. Works was established in 1973 and is dedicated to ending all forms of sexual violence through Healing, Outreach, Prevention, and Empowerment. Programs include a 24 hour hotline; legal, medical, and emergency housing support; clinical therapy; support groups; and economic justice programs for those whose lives have been affected by sexual violence. Education and outreach programs strive to change attitudes and beliefs that perpetuate and condone sexual violence through outreach campaigns, workshops, and professional trainings.
