The Birds of Vermont Museum houses a unique collection of over 500 life-like wood carvings of birds. Most carvings were completed by Bob Spear, a naturalist whose vision turned into this one-of-a-kind museum located in Huntington. While exploring the Museum exhibits, its forest and meadow trails, pollinator gardens, bird-blind or accessible tree house, visitors can discover, appreciate, and enjoy Vermont birds -- and more. We also offer a gift shop stocked with uncommon Vermont and nature-related gifts. Special events throughout the year include local community art exhibits, lectures and conversations, bird walks, carving demonstrations and classes, and children's programs.
