The Preservation Trust owns the Grand Isle Lake House. The Trust is a charitable non-profit organized in 1980 to assist the continuing statewide effort to protect Vermont's special architectural resources, provide assistance to others involved in historic preservation, undertake educational programs, hold easements on individual properties, and accept gifts of property.
