MVP Health Care has been made aware of fraudulent individuals posing as MVP Human Resources representatives through fake e-mail addresses and text messaging systems. This is an issue we take very seriously, and we work with the appropriate authorities to report these scams. Here are a few things to be aware of to help identify recruitment fraud: MVP will only communicate with applicants through emails generated by a @MVPHealthCare.com domain or via our Dayforce tracking system (notify@dayforce.com). Additionally, at no point in MVP’s hiring process will an MVP recruiter ever ask you to make any type of payment to be considered for a role. If you receive an email or text message claiming to be from MVP Health Care that asks for payment-related or personal information and you are concerned about its legitimacy, you may notify us by emailing hr@mvphealthcare.com. 🚨 Tips for staying safe and healthy ahead of today's exciting solar eclipse from Dr. Peter Deane, Medical Director at MVP Health Care: 😎 Eye safety: Never look at the sun without eclipse viewing glasses as regular sunglasses are not sufficient. Specialized viewing glasses are designed to protect your eyes from harmful solar radiation. Without protective glasses, your eyes could become permanently damaged. ☀ Skin health: The sun will be very bright with intense ultraviolet rays. For those spending a long time outdoors, your skin needs protection from the sun, just like your eyes. Apply sunscreen, wear a hat, and choose appropriate clothing for the day. All of these can go a long way in keeping your skin healthy while watching the solar eclipse. 🥛 Nutrition: Dehydration and hunger can sneak up on you, especially when spending extended periods of time outside and under the sun. Even on cloudy days, drinking four to six glasses of water is important to overall health and well-being. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gthN9B9G

🏀 At this weekend’s NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament at The MVP Arena , we hosted 48 young, female athletes from Girls Inc. of the Greater Capital Region, the Boys & Girls Club of Albany, and the Albany Police Athletic League as our guests. At MVP, giving back to our communities is a cornerstone of our mission and hosting these young athletes provided them with an opportunity they otherwise might not have. We had a great time at the tournament and hope that our support for these young athletes inspires them to continue pursuing sports because “Girls Who Play Sports Become Women Who Lead." Thank you to all of the organizations who donated swag bag items: Toyota North America TOGETHXR State University of New York Cortland University of Vermont Krause's Homemade Candies Clarkson University Graduate School and PWR Performance Wellness Recovery (Brittany Burnham)!
