Event Description: On Wednesday July 4th the Bristol 4th of July will host the main events associated with the 4th of July celebration. The day will start with a 5K race hosted by Troy Paradee. That is followed by the 34th running of The Bristol Great Outhouse race. After the race is the parade, longest continually yearly parade in all of Vermont. Finally there will be all sorts of activities and festivities on The Green The main portion of the day will be devoted to activities on The Green which include food, vendors, fun activities for the kids and live music by Helen Weston. The activities on The Green will run from noon until 4 pm. New this year will be $1.00 pull tickets. For anybody 18 or older they are an opportunity to win big and it will be a source of funding for the 4th of July activities.


Directions:
The Town of Bristol is located approximately 25 miles south of the Essex Junction interstate exit. It is located on Routes 116 and 17. The Town of Bristol is also about 15 miles north of Middlebury and is snuggled in the shadows of Hogback and South mountains. All of these activities will be centered around The Green which is on the north west corner at the light in the middle of town.
