Event Description: Dress in your favorite pirate costume and get some treasure! Participants receive a t-shirt, bandana, finishing medal and ‘tattoo!’ Prizes will be awarded! Meet Rockin’ Ron the Friendly Pirate! The event will be open to all ages and take place on the beautiful Burlington Waterfront with the Lake Champlain Maritime Festival course running along the Burlington Bike Path. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Community Sailing Center’s WAVES Initiative, a program for children and adults that is designed to enhance their connection to the exciting ecosystems of Lake Champlain through interactive science lessons and recreation on the lake.
