The Community Health Centers of Burlington (CHCB) is a non-profit health institution, with over 40 years of mission-driven care to the Chittenden County region. As the sole Federally Qualified Health Center in Vermont’s most populated urban center, we provide medical, dental and behavioral health services all under one roof and welcome all community residents.
CHCB offers a wide range of special programs to ensure our mission of care is available to all. All services are available on a Sliding-Fee Scale for low-income, uninsured/under-insured community residents. For Vermonters eligible for our homeless services, they pay nothing.
Last year, over 18,000 Vermonters accessed our services at five facilities; our main site on Riverside Avenue, our Safe Harbor Health Center on South Winooski Avenue which serves homeless adults and families, our Pearl Street Youth Health Center which serves at-risk or homeless youth up to age 26, our School-Based Dental Center at the Integrated Arts Academy at H.O. Wheeler School which provides dental care for uninsured and/or low-income Burlington School District children, or our Keeler Bay Health Center which serves the residents of southern Grand Isle County.
CHCB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supported by federal, state and local grants, community donors and area businesses.
