Healing Winds believes that sailing is a therapeutic experience and greatly reduces stress. Our sails are free to those living with cancer ; each sail can have up to 8 guests. HWVT strives to create lasting memories for individuals with cancer, and their loved ones while sailing on the organization's 40-foot sailboat. Out on water, with the sun on their face and wind filling the sail, those with cancer are refreshed, rejuvenated and recharged, while bonding with loved ones. Statement of Belief: We believe that sailing provides relief for individuals living with cancer. Our sailing excursions are refreshing, relaxing, and spirit-lifting. We provide an opportunity to rebuild courage, love and relationships and we strive to create lasting memories.
