Aldrich + Elliott (A+E), formerly Forcier Aldrich & Associates (FA&A), was formed in 1995 with a simple objective; to provide our clients with personal, responsive, quality engineering services at competitive fees. With one office in Essex Junction, VT, A+E employs twenty dedicated environmentalists, including seven licensed professional engineers (PE's), senior engineering technicians, AutoCAD trained drafters, support staff and other field staff.
Since our inception, we have succeeded in delivering high quality professional engineering services to each of our clients. We believe we have the ideal balance of experience and size to meet and exceed your needs and expectations with cost-effective and innovative solutions.
Water Resource Engineering
Over the years, A+E has gained a reputation as water resource engineering specialists. Water, wastewater and stormwater engineering is our specialty and our passion. Nearly 95% of our work falls under the category of water, wastewater or stormwater engineering for Vermont municipal clients. We challenge anyone to offer more extensive water, wastewater and stormwater engineering for Vermont municipal clients since 1995 than A+E.
Civil Engineering
We also offer a full range of civil engineering services from site development, to roadways, sidewalks and streetscapes, athletic fields and parking lot improvements.
From Assessment to Commissioning
As your professional engineering consultant, A+E can help you with assessment and planning, design, permitting, construction and commissioning of your entire project. We offer a wealth of related experience and an innovative spirit that will identify the best solution for your specific needs. Engineering is the creative application of math and science to address physical needs. We embrace this principle and seek out innovative solutions to each and every problem we face.
Customized Engineering Solutions
We recognize that engineering is not an exact science with only one right answer to a problem. We develop alternatives to address each of your concerns and discuss the pros and cons of each in a collaborative manner to derive the best suited alternative to your specific project. We always refer back to the experience we've gained from our past projects, but strongly believe that "one size does not fit all" and that every project is unique. Frankly, that's why we love what we do!
Engaging Project Team Approach
Our project team approach engages you in every aspect of your project, which assures that we first understand your issues and expectations. Our Project Manager leads a team, while providing you with a single point of contact as you are involved in the consideration of alternatives and become an integral part of the decision-making. Since you are involved throughout the process, you clearly understand the options and basis for the final recommendations. It is the great one-on-one relationship that our Project Managers build and maintain with our clients, that generates satisfied customers, repeat business and invaluable word-of-mouth referrals.
On-Time and On-Budget
We have gained a reputation for delivering our projects on-time and on-budget. Our QA/QC program is a large part of this success, and a "constructability" review is an important part of our QA/QC process. Our staff has an extensive background in general contracting, prior to A+E. This allows us to view the project through the "eyes of the contractor" to make sure our designs are clear and workable. We also encourage you to ask any of our clients about the accuracy of our designs. We are confident they will confirm that there were minimal change orders on their projects from "design omissions".
