Last week, we were heartbroken to learn we lost someone dear to our small team.
Cassidy Petit was a wonderful, talented and impressive woman. She was the ultimate catalyst within Vermont's entrepreneurial community. She was a total badass. Yet she was the opposite of intimidating. She was SO welcoming.
Her optimism, her words of encouragement, the connections she made on behalf of others, the dinners she hosted, and countless invisible efforts made a mountainous difference for our company. She was an investor, a cheerleader, and more than supporting our company, we felt supported as human beings. She made us feel at home in our new home.
We were excited to welcome her back to Vermont and watch her build her own venture. We were excited to hang out. We were excited to toast the next phase of her life with Lochie.
Right now, it feels like someone turned off the projector during a beautiful movie. There was much more to unfold.
CP's legacy and her relationships of course extend far beyond startups and the work she did at Hula. But we are grateful that the ripples of her hard work, positive energy, and kindness still radiate around the halls.
We will to do our bit to be more like her - bringing positive energy and supporting others.
Our condolences to both families and their close friends.
We miss you, CP.
